
Dr. Armando Alegret completed his undergraduate medical training in Camagüey, Cuba, obtaining a doctoral degree in medicine. After moving to the United States, he completed postgraduate residencies in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami and Ophthalmology at the University of Maryland.
He is a dual board-certified diplomat of both the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and presented research at multiple national and international specialty meetings.
